Without looking at his site I could only make a guess at what might be happening. I am making an assumption that this revenue is through google adsense? If so it might be the site he has the revenue per click the value of the content he delivers.

I am just wondering if an acquaintance of mine is doing something wrong.

He now has over 100,000 unique visits to his blog every month and is pulling down a grand total of $200 per m0nth in advertising revenue.

100,000 uniques is so far out of reach for me, and to think he is making so little after five years effort, what say you about this result?
